Privacy

Short version: the extension keeps everything on your computer and sends nothing anywhere.

What it does with your data

• It notes which supported sites you use and for how long, or how many prompts, images, videos or searches you made, to estimate water use. These counts are stored only in your browser (chrome.storage.local).
• It never stores or sends what you type, the pages you read, or your browsing history. It only keeps counts per site per day.
• On Luma only, it checks the prompt on the page for the words “image” or “video”, so it can tell which one you asked for. Only that one word is kept, nothing else.

What it does not do

• No accounts, no analytics, no ads, no tracking, no cookies.
• No data is sent to the developer or to any third party. The extension makes no network requests of its own.
• It does not sell or share data, because it does not collect any outside your browser.

Your control

Your counts stay on your computer. Removing the extension deletes them. This website does not use cookies or analytics either.

Permissions

The extension asks for access to the supported sites so it can detect activity on them (for example, a prompt being sent). It uses storage to keep the daily counts and alarms to count time once a minute. It is not made by or connected to any of the companies or websites it names.
