Install
The extension is not in the Chrome Web Store yet. Until it is, you can install it yourself in about a minute. It works on desktop Chrome, Edge, Brave and Arc.

Download and unzip. Download the extension, then double-click the zip. You get a folder called
shower. Keep it somewhere you will not delete, such as Documents.2
Open Chrome’s extensions page. Type
chrome://extensions in the address bar and press Enter.3
Turn on “Developer mode” with the switch in the top right corner.

Click “Load unpacked” (top left) and choose the
shower folder, the one with manifest.json inside.5
Pin it. Click the puzzle-piece icon in the toolbar, then the pin next to “Can I take a shower today?”. You will see a yellow duck. Browse as usual, and click the duck at the end of the day.

Reload tabs that were already open. The extension only counts pages loaded after you install it, so reload any AI or streaming tabs you had open (Cmd+R or Ctrl+R).
Do not delete the folder, or the extension stops working. Chrome may show a “Disable developer mode extensions” message when it restarts: just close it. The extension runs only in your browser and sends nothing anywhere. See Privacy.
